Founded with its initial title, Koç University Research and Project Development Directorate, in 2009, our unit went into a restructuring process in 2013 and was elected among the top ten universities to benefit from the 1513 TÜBİTAK Support Program for Technology Transfer Offices. Over the years, university-industry collaboration has increased, technology transfer, commercialization and effective management of intellectual properties have become a priority.
